Day Three(cont.): Shell Falls, Bighorn National Forest to Greybull, Wyoming to Tensleep Canyon
Sunday, June 8, 1997

Cowpoke shoots this photo
We hit the road but not before admiring the fog rolling up into the mountains from the west. Another photo opportunity, but Cowpoke is taking the photo, so we'll have to electronically splice him in when there is more time. Should we include all of him or just his head?

Shell Falls
We drive down through the western flank of the Bighorns though the fog (photo) and eventually come to a scenic spot - Shell Falls. We weren't expecting find this place, but it turned out to be an excellent view at the Shell Falls Visitors center. Being in June, there is still an abundant amount of meltwater that is feeding the falls. The roar is tremendous. We aren't sure if the flow will be as intense by late summer.
